The location itself gives you a decent clue as to what to expect from L’Atelier Europeen: Located in Rue Franklin 28, only a minute’s walk from the European institutions on Place Schuman, it is a spot for a business dinner rather than for a night out with your mates. That said, it also makes for nice romantic dinners – provided you find a cosy spot in the midst of the EU people and their delegations.
As you would think by now, the offer of wines is splendid, and the food here is a real treat as well. The fresh Asparagus made for a perfect starter and the Grilled red mullet filets were well worth the 20 €. If you have room for desert (and are willing to spend 8 € for it), you can’t go wrong with the dark chocolate melleux.
