If you have walked from Mont des Arts to the centre of Brussels, it’s fairly likely you have walked past the KWINT restaurant. And it’s just as likely that you have not taken any notice of it as you were probably busy enjoying the view of the city.
So take our advice: Go there again and have a close look. Or, better yet, let somebody invite you there!
On their website they call themselves “the first Belgian representative and intermediary for two authorities in Parisian gastronomy: Maison de la Truffe and Kaspia” and whatever that means specifically, it also means – more generally – that the KWINT is a great place for great food. And that, of course, has its price.
Soups start at 12€, Salads at 14€ and mains at 15€. But if you are ready to spend it, you will get your money’s worth.
We can recommend the menu including the lobster soup and the salmon with asparagus – both were a real treat. One insider tip: Don’t forget to try the truffel oil that’s on the table, it’s amazing!
Oh, and don’t let the food take all your attention – try and enjoy the breathtaking view of the city every now and then!
