Rue de Namur has a place for you at all times of the day: During the day, the JAT Cafe offers good coffee, snacks and cakes and a relaxing space to read and work. In the evening, just look to the other side of the street, where you will find the Le Loft. The interior is rustic/industrial, so in the summertime it’s actually nicer to sit outside, enjoy the warm summer evenings and engage in people-watching, which is always fun at Rue de Namur. (However, there aren’t that many seats outside!)
Many people might come for the food (they market themselves as a steakhouse) – but it’s the happy hour that attracts most: From 6 to 8 every evening, spirits (‘alcools’) and cocktails are 2 for 1.
There’s also a special offer for movie buffs: If you come here with your cinema ticket (the UGC Porte de Namur is literally just around the corner), you will also get 2 for 1 on spirits and cocktails – not matter what time it is.
