Place Jourdan is a great place to be with all the brasseries surrounding the square and Maison Antoine in the middle of it all. But what was missing for a long time was a nice cafe for having a decent cup of coffee/tea, non-fried lunch, getting some work done or meeting people for non-alcoholic drinks during the day.
Now, there is one: OR Coffee Roasters, who have made a name for themselves with their coffee bar in town, have opened up a branch on Jourdan.
It may not be as comfortable or stylish as The Workshop Cafe at Louise, but it is a nice spot. The coffee is great (and not too expensive – 3€ for a mug of filter coffee), the service is very friendly and the food looks good too.
Bonus points for the wide range of coffee and the choice of seats from wooden chais to barstools and even a couch …
There is free WIFI, of course, a few power outlets and on top of that some magazines are lying around (seemed to be a mixed bag of French, English and even German).
